How It All Started
It started with a simple idea: What if you could experience the wilderness in real-time, from anywhere in the world? Not a polished documentary filmed months ago. Not a highlight reel. But the actual, unscripted, beautiful, messy reality of living outdoors — as it happens.
Our founder, Alex Rivera, was on a solo camping trip deep in the Rockies when the idea hit. Sitting by the fire, watching the stars appear one by one, he thought: “Everyone should see this. Not in a photo. Right now. Live.”
That spark became Live31. The name comes from the idea that adventure doesn't follow a 9-to-5 schedule — it's 24/7, 31 days a month. We assembled a team of explorers, filmmakers, survival experts, and tech wizards who shared one obsession: making the wild accessible to everyone through the power of live streaming.
Now, we're preparing to launch our first 24/7 stream. But we can't do it alone. We need sponsors — brands that share our passion for the outdoors and our belief that the best stories are the ones that happen live. “Built for the Wild” isn't just our tagline — it's our promise.
